||Bliss Feuille d'Album
Bliss (1920) Bertha Young, a happily married mother, gives a small dinner-party
for a theatre director and his wife, a whey-faced poet and a new friend
for whom she feels a strange burning affinity. "What can you do if you are
thirty and, turning the corner of your own street, you are overcome, suddenly
by a feeling of bliss - absolute bliss?". Feuille D'Album is an equally
strange and compelling story about a handsome young artist working in Paris.
"How could one resist him?" But it does not take people long to notice that
the fascinating Mr French is not all that he seems to be.
